The  TXFP-ZR-Xseries optical transceiver is a high performance and cost
effective XFP transceiver modules designed for 10G SDH/SONET, 10G Ethernet
DWDM fiber optic transmission applications, designed to support the full range of
C-band ITU-T wavelengths data rates from 9.95Gbps to 11.3Gbs and distances up
to 80km.
This transceiver contains both transmit and receive sections.  An MZM, (C-band
tunable laser with a wavelength locker) a laser driver and the supporting circuits
constitute the transmit path  while an APD ROSA, a post amplifier and the
supporting circuits form the receive section. A microcontroller handles the
communications between the module and the host board as well as the control and
monitoring functions for both transmit and receive sections. A Clock and Data
Recovery circuit (CDR) functions for both transmit and receive.
The transceiver module is fully compliant with the XFP MSA standard and can be
hot-plugged into the 30-pin XFP connector on the host board. By limiting inrush
currents,  the device will not disturb the operations of the host board. The
high-speed electrical interface is fully compliant with the XFI standard, providing
transmission paths for the 10G signals.

Description
The FTCX-OLE-20X transceiver is the high performance module for single fiber by using 1577nm continuous-mode transmitter and 1310nm burst-mode receiver. It is optical line terminal(OLT) for IEEE P802.3™D3.2 10/1GBASE–PRX30. The optical transceiver is compliant with XFP Multi- Source Agreement (MSA).
 The transmitter section uses a 1577nm EML LD with automatic power control (APC) function and temperature compensation circuitry to ensure stable extinction ratio over all operating temperature range. and is ClassⅠlaser compliant IEC825 and CDRH standards.
The receiver has a hermetically packaged APD-TIA  (trans-impedance amplifier) pre-amplifier and a limiting amplifier with LVPECL compatible differential outputs. The receiver also supports burst mode RSSI output which is enabled by a trigger. Burst mode RSSI function can satisfy system the demand of monitoring the power from any ONU.

Digital Diagnostic Functions

FTCX-DW1X-80X Small Form Factor 10Gb/s (XFP) transceivers are compliant with the current XFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) Specification Rev 4.5.

As defined by the XFP MSA, F-toneNetworks XFP transceivers provide digital diagnostic functions via a 2-wire serial interface, which allows real-time access to the following operating parameters:

  1. Transceiver temperature
  2. Laser bias current
  3. Transmitted optical power
  4. Received optical power
  5. Transceiver supply voltage

It also provides a sophisticated system of alarm and warning flags, which may be used to alert end-users when particular operating parameters are outside of a factory-set normal range.

Description
F-toneNetworks FTCX-CW1X-10X is compliant with the 10G Small Form-Factor Pluggable (XFP) Multi-Source Agreement (MSA), supporting data-rate of 10.3125Gbps(10GBASE-LR) or 9.953Gbps 10GBASE-LW), and transmission distance up to 10km on SMF.

The transceiver module comprises a transmitter with uncooled CWDM DFB laser and a receiver with a PIN photodiode. The transceiver module comprises a transmitter with a 1270/1330nm DFB laser transmitter, an integrated 1330/1270nm detector preamplifier(IDP) mounted in an optical header and a limiting post-amplifier IC. Transmitter and receiver are separate within a wide temperature range of  0℃ to +70℃  and offers optimum heat dissipation and excellent electromagnetic shielding thus enabling high port densities for 10 GbE systems.
